The harasser is a three-seat buggy and the fastest ground vehicle in Planetside 2. It is often used as a hit-and-run combat vehicle with a crew of two, or as a cheap transport option.

Passive

NFI-2000 Turbo

The harasser has a turbo boost which can be activated by pressing the shift key. Activating the turbo uses about 30% of the charge, which will be sustained as long as the shift key is held.

The boost is applied as a force on the vehicle, not as an increase in engine or wheel speed. If used in the air, it can increase the distance and hang time of a jump. It can also be used when upside down to potentially unflip the vehicle.

  • Default: Recharges in 30 seconds.
  • Level 1: 150 Certs. Improves recharge time to 27.5 seconds.
  • Level 2: 200 Certs. Improves recharge time to 25 seconds.
  • Level 3: 400 Certs. Improves recharge time to 22.5 seconds.
  • Level 4: 500 Certs. Improves recharge time to 20 seconds.
  • Level 5: 1000 Certs. Improves recharge time to 15 seconds.

Utility

Fire Suppression

Fire suppression is an activated ability which repairs 15% of the harasser’s health over 5 seconds. In addition, if the harasser is below 25% health, it will raise it to 25% immediately upon activation, which will remove the burning state.

Fire suppression is the most commonly used of the utility options. The health bonus it gives

  • Level 2: 100 Certs. Recharges in 50 seconds
  • Level 3: 200 Certs. Recharges in 47 seconds
  • Level 4: 500 Certs. Recharges in 45 seconds.

Gate Shield Diffuser

When activated, the vehicle is encased in a coating that allows it to slip through enemy gate shields and avoid damage caused by collisions with other vehicles.

GSD is mainly used as a tool for getting into certain bases for anti-infantry combat, but can also be used tactically to make it easier to ram and flip enemy vehicles

  • Level 1: 100 Certs.  Recharges in 55 seconds
  • Level 2: 200 Certs. Recharges in 50 seconds
  • Level 3: 400 Certs. Recharges in 47 seconds
  • Level 4: 500 Certs. Recharges in 45 seconds.

Smoke Screen

Creates a smokescreen around the vehicle that makes it difficult to see and prevents lock-ons for 8 seconds.

  • Level 1: 50 Certs. Recharges in 40 seconds
  • Level 2: 100 Certs. Recharges in 35 seconds
  • Level 3: 200 Certs. Recharges in 32 seconds
  • Level 4: 500 Certs. Recharges in 30 seconds.

Defence

Composite Armor

  • Level 1: 50 Certs. Increases the vehicle’s total health pool by 14%.
  • Level 2: 100 Certs. Increases the vehicle’s total health pool by 16%.
  • Level 3: 200 Certs. Increases the vehicle’s total health pool by 18%.
  • Level 4: 1000 Certs. Increases the vehicle’s total health pool by 20%.

Mine Guard

  • Level 1: 30 Certs. Reduces damage from anti-tank mines by 50%
  • Level 2: 50 Certs. Reduces damage from anti-tank mines by 56%
  • Level 3: 100 Certs. Reduces damage from anti-tank mines by 62%
  • Level 4: 200 Certs. Reduces damage from anti-tank mines by 71%

Nanite Auto Repair System

Nanites repair damage over time as long as the vehicle has not taken damage within a few seconds. Damage disables repair for 12 seconds

  • Level 1: 30 Certs. Repairs 3.2% per 5 seconds.
  • Level 2: 50 Certs. Repairs 4% per 5 seconds.
  • Level 3: 100 Certs. Repairs 4.8% per 5 seconds.
  • Level 4: 200 Certs. Repairs 5.6% per 5 seconds.
  • Level 5: 500 Certs. Repairs 6.4% per 5 seconds.

Vehicle Stealth

Stealth increases the time for seeking weapons to establish a lock and also reduces the range at which the vehicle will automatically appear to enemies via proximity or radar.

  • Level 1: 30 certs. Increases the time it takes to lock-on to the vehicle by 0.25 seconds and also reduces auto-detect range of the vehicle to 75 meters.
  • Level 2: 100 certs. Increases the time it takes to lock-on to the vehicle by 0.5 seconds and also reduces auto-detect range of the vehicle to 50 meters. 
  • Level 3: 200 certs. Increases the time it takes to lock-on to the vehicle by 0.75 seconds and also reduces auto-detect range of the vehicle to 25 meters. 
  • Level 4: 1000 certs. Increases the time it takes to lock-on to the vehicle by 1 second and also completely prevents the vehicle from being auto-detected.

Proximity Radar

Detects the movement of hostile soldiers near the vehicle and reveals them on the mini-map for all vehicle occupants.

  • Level 1: 100 certs. Increases the range of the Proximity Radar to 30 meters.
  • Level 1: 200 certs. Increases the range of the Proximity Radar to 35 meters.
  • Level 1: 400 certs. Increases the range of the Proximity Radar to 40 meters.
  • Level 1: 500 certs. Increases the range of the Proximity Radar to 50 meters.
